1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to every offer made by and every distance contract concluded between Wine after Work BV (hereinafter the “seller”) and the consumer (hereinafter the “customer”). By placing an order via the webshop, the customer accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Offer and products
The products offered consist of standard wine racks and accessories. The seller strives to provide the most accurate possible description of the products. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer are not binding on the seller.
3. Prices
All prices are expressed in euros (€) and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are clearly indicated before completing the order. The seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. Orders are invoiced based on the prices applicable at the time of the order.
4. Orders
An order is considered concluded once the customer receives a confirmation by email. The seller reserves the right to refuse orders in cases of:
- • Serious suspicion of abuse
- • Incorrect or incomplete customer information
- • Force majeure
5. Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the webshop. Orders will only be shipped after full payment has been received.
6. Delivery
Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer. Delivery times are indicative and not binding. Delays do not entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation of the order. Risk transfers to the customer at the time of delivery.
7. Right of withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods, without giving any reason. During this period, the customer must handle the product and packaging with care.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must:
- • Be unused
- • Be returned in its original packaging
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods.
8. Warranty and complaints
The customer is entitled to a legal warranty of 2 years on consumer goods. Complaints must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. Visible damage must be reported immediately upon delivery.
9. Liability
The seller shall not be liable for:
- • Indirect damages
- • Consequential damages
- • Damages resulting from improper use of the products
In any case, liability is limited to the value of the order.
10. Force majeure
In case of force majeure, the seller is not obliged to fulfill its obligations. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the seller’s control, such as:
- • Transport issues
- • Supplier delays
- • Strikes
- • Pandemics
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
All agreements are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district where Wine after Work BV has its registered office.
